Hello my loves!
So I decided to hop on the band wagon and purchase the all new Urban Decay Naked Basics palette.
I'm not a massive eye shadow wearer, so you may be thinking "why did you buy it then?" well the simple answer is this. If on the off chance I do wear eye shadow I like basic neutral, matte shades and because I have fair skin with blue eyes I personally feel that I don't suit any other colours. The past Naked palettes I didn't really like either because they were mostly shimmery shades.
This is the perfect palette if you like basic make up looks. The size of the palette is so small (the size of my hand, and I have tiny hands) so it's perfect for travelling or carrying around in your handbag. The packaging is really sturdy so it's not going to break or shatter the eye shadows, plus there's not a lot of excess material which is one of the things I love. The shades themselves are so pigmented apart from Venus which is more of a highlight shade and great for under the brow bone and the inner tear duct.
All in all I think this is a great piece to add to your collection or if your a beginner in make up. I purchased my palette off beautybay.com

DeleteI was so excited about this palette because the shadows in Naked/Naked2 are sooo glittery and there's always a ton of fall-out. But some of the shades in Naked Basics are way too light for me. So disappointing! Glad you are getting a lot of use out of it though :)
